Not only that, but it'd be in the news as the longest domestic flight taken in the air, especially from passengers complaining of the length. The flight would also not be stocked properly with food, beverages, etc., and passengers can't survive that long without proper food.

Definitely a glitch for sure. An interesting one, though!
