I have no problem with the model. But I only credit miles earned on my credit card or from 2 for 1 bookings to SA anyway.
And given their inability to issue an award ticket for more than 4 months after I booked it - despite reassurances like "someone will call you before the close of business today" - I'm not sure why I even bother with that.
