You could always get an MBNA card then transfer to another with zero percent. I can't tell you how many mailings I got from Citi with a 14-month zero percent period before I finally relented and signed up for one. They *really* wanted me to have it. Every week I got a new one, it seemed. Bound to be one out there. It's true, though, if you only get one and know you're going to revolve the balance, the 2% one-time fee might be cheaper than several months of whatever high APR. Figure out how much you think you'll be charging on it and do the math.
