AA allows in-cabin pets to most destinations (except TATL/TPAC and deep South America flights, as well as HI), and her cat may travel with her owner in the cabin for a $125 fee (one-way) which probably is cheaper than paying her Dr. for the ESAN paperwork.
Non-stop domestic flight fully within the continental U.S.
