Reading all these threads about changes UA has made one thing really clear to me - UA used to be a leader, acted like one and was proud of it - now they spend all their time justifying why they are just like everyone else and following the trend - instead of setting it - and they have arguably taken their only competitive advantage left and are starting to ruin it for short term financial gain...

I'm all for pleasing Wall Street - that's just part of the requirements for any large global company. The great companies - the ones that last - they get this, but they also understand that product, employees and customers matter too - and they find a way to keep all of their stakeholders engaged and supportive.... UA doesn't get this - I hope they figure it out soon....
