You're so right, quality keeps going down while prices go up up up.

You might consider the ebags brand EXO 2.0 line, check ebags.com for description and videos. I own a number of items from their TLS and eTech lines, also their packing cubes and padded pouches. I've never been disappointed in any of their own branded products.
