Have a BA avios booking for 2 of us flying HKG-LHR in F. We were allocated 2A and 2D in an otherwise empty cabin. I understand that 2D is accessed from the K side and not the A side, making this a "bad pair".

All other seats are unoccupied, but BA cannot move us to 2D/2K as 2K is showing as a basinet seat. The only option for a couple seems to be 1D/1K, which are shown as "bad seats" due to light and noise from the gallery.

Is the only pre-bookable "pair" a bad choice?
