Question What happens to pending promotional credits if you cancel your Amex Canada card?
I took advantage of the recent Amex Canada "Spend $60 at Safeway/Co-op/etc., Get a $15 Statement Credit" promo. I registered and used several of my Amexes.

Some retailers posted their credits right away, but I'm still waiting on other $15 statement credits.

My Amex Aeroplan Plus is coming close to the 1 year mark so I was going to cancel it. But I was wondering what happens to the statement credit? Would Amex send a cheque or does it just disappear into the ether?
