This holds no water. What about all the general members who have built up their miles for a "free" ticket yet have to pay a bag fee?
Just because general elites had their tickets devalued already doesn't mean I have to like my tickets being devalued now.
Fact of the matter is 25,000 miles is worth about $150+ dollars less to me than it was a week ago.
That's a pretty big hit to the value of the miles, which drastically changes my feelings about collecting them.
