Visa Signature was intended to be the epitomy of Visa's card products, however issuers are handing out Signature like there's no tomorrow. A myriad of Platinum members are getting the conversion.

Although Visa/MC make the cards appear so elite and exclusively for the wealthy, anyone can get one.

That's the only problem, Visa/MC create innovative card roducts (i.e. Visa Infinite) however shortly after the launch, they relax the criterea and therefore a myriad of people qualify and obtain the card(s). Ultimately the card truly isn't "for the select few, exclusively by invitation only" etc.
