Let the poster decide. If they are absurd or too high, they'll get no traction and end up quickly at the bottom of the heap. Especially with more revenue-based programs, it may not be absurd to spend $500 more than "a great find" if it is the ticket that gets you 1K for next year. We all have our "value" standard, and it shouldn't be pre-moderated out of existence.

Agree with all those who've said to allow members to post whatever they feel is worth sharing.

Good premium fares depend on many variables, and just don't fit neatly into rigid parameters. A really good business class fare on Cathay might still be 50% higher than the "typical" fare on Philippine Airlines, but that doesn't mean it isn't a great deal. I personally don't want to miss out on my preferred route and/or a significantly better product just because that great fare didn't fit some arbitrary guideline

Weak fares will be ignored or challenged by other FTers. Those threads will die on their own. If they end up attracting a lot of sniping or other inappropriate replies, then that's a moderation/disciplinary matter, and should be dealt with accordingly.
