That's not correct. Should be 40k Avios in J each way.



It's possible the agents got confused and thought there was an F cabin instead of a J one. F works out at 60k for that redemption band.

Do you have any other flights on this ticket? If you have more than one non-BA flight they use a different reward chart, which is best avoided.

All I can suggest is hang up and call again.
