I will be arriving into BKK at 7am from Paris and probably be into town by 9am, does anyone know how likely I would be able to check-in early. Personally I think the S57 location is very good.
I am not sure what you are in BKK for (work or tourism)- however for work the S57 location works out well for many due to nearby office towers and BTS proximity- for tourism the Thonglor area and Ekkimai area are very close to S57 and offer wonderful variety of restaurants with excellent quality. At the moment Thonglor is probably the hottest nightlife destination in BK in the minds of many locals.
Courtyard location is also very good- seriously though considering the efficiency of BTS as long as you are comfortable with public transport the two locations are both convenient and within 15/20 minutes of each other if not moving by automobile.
Regarding 9A checkin- most hotels in BK will offer this if occupancy is not too high for a fee of 50% of one room night. I would contact the hotel directly and ask for that- why not give them a quick call and reservations can probably confirm with you over the telephone- or ask your travel agent to do so for you?
