For many years I have flown EK and have been a Skywards Gold member for as long.
Its now time for a change and even though my regular route from Dubai to NZ is more direct with EK the prospect of more regular business class / PE seats as oppose to EK economy flex wins me over.

To make the change more appealing I emailed the Marco Polo club asking whether they would consider my current Skywards status and match it.
Their communication with me through the process has been exemplary and their willingness to upgrade me to MP gold was very welcomed.

Well done Cathay Pacific with what I hope will be a long and happy relationship.
