Today, had a connection on a EMB-145. Two things happened while traveling with 2 kids. First, we were moved from E+ to E (UA advertised the seats as E+. GA told me that there were insufficient oxygen masks for a lap child & thus the need for the move & that there is no difference in seats. I fly mostly mainline. Was GA accurate?

2nd. Had a 40 min flight & after patiently waiting for seat belt light to go off, the Mrs needed to get something out of bin for kids, ie, jackets due to temperature. After 2 PA announcements, FA came storming down the aisle to demand compliance. I just woke up so I figured we were close to landing, which occurred 20 min later. What is a pax to do in this situation as the Mrs complied.
