Originally booked AA71 on May 6 from FRA to DFW in F. Original equipment was listed as 772 and I was hoping for a renovated bird. Now the flight has been changed to a 763. The seat plan still shows six across in F. By investigation it seems that the 772 is being replaced by 763 at the beginning of the year.

I tried a dummy booking in January and as of that month it lists only two classes. First class is listed on all days as "unavailable" right through until May. So I am assuming that the new configuration will go into effect in January. This seems to at least give some indication that the flight will be flown on a renovated two class 763.
