I used to use Ctrip extensively, but lately the website has been very touchy and I moved most of the air bookings to elong. Neither of the sites is the best when it comes to email confirmations, confirmation numbers, etc.. but if you log in and go to your account you can usually get what you need. I have been using Agoda for hotel bookings which is good since you can use cash back sites for Agoda bookings.
