They changed to T&S exclusive rates about 1 week into April after the consumption tax went up, and they messed up their system. The system no adds the the new 18.8% T&S to the room rate, even though it already included the old 15.5% T&S. Very disappointed that the desk staff did not understand how to read a Hyatt.com email confirmation."

I had the same problem with a P&C reservation made before the change.
The front office agent wanted to collect the 18.8% T&S on the cash portion.
Since I had anticipated there would be a problem I brought it up immediately at check in and it was taken care of by the time I checked out.
I am sure it went through several layers of management....
