Perhaps then, for Golds, they are going with the "renewal clears all Tier Miles" approach, aka "we only check for renewals once a year, on your anniversary date".

I'd like to hear from someone who isn't Gold - are you showing a tier miles balance, and does it indeed correspond only to the number of Tier Miles that were added to your account with activity dates on or after 25/11/2013?
