Well as a reality check ... I just scouted our next Asia trip which I haven't bothered to book yet because I was confident I could find TPAC R inventory ... so my first choice was SFO-ICN on Jan. 20 and I found R9.
Despite all the peevish puling I see here, it's not hard from where I sit ...
Try doing the same search from SFO to: FRA, LHR, ZRH, MUC, or CDG and see what you get.
