I had the pleasure of flying the brand new CRJ900 this week CLT-BHM-CLT. Both the livery and the interior was in the new AA style. The interior reminded me of the new AA 738 and 777-300ER interiors. MCE was rows 8-16 (15 and 16 were exit row). Row numbering system followed typical AA model vs US. Some interior pictures here:

This is the first flight I've seen on US (operated by PSA in this case), but with AA designed interior + MCE. The US reservation system is not yet set up for this. The MCE seats online showed up for $22 for elites and were not labeled as "MCE" on the seat map. I was in the exit row CLT-BHM, which is tight due to the tray tables being on the side of the seat. On the return, I had to ask nicely to get the GA to put me in row 10 MCE instead of paying $22 (which she was nice enough to do).

Because US does not have MCE, this would seem to indicate the new AA will be rolling it out. That is good.
US does charge for the 'best' seats in coach - even elites. I hate to think this policy will continue. This is potentially bad.
