Trying this with Chase now, but am getting told while they will combine limits, they will leave $1000 in the account that's having credit moved out of. Can I get them to move the entire thing?
Same thing happened to me a few months ago. I wasn't sure why and asked, the rep just said the system was only only showing a certain amount that could be moved (which was my available credit minus $1000). I wasn't too concerned about it so didn't try to find out more.
