We were there for a week last winter. The area is pristine, the rooms are top luxury quality, the food and the service also as good as it gets. If you want any more detailed info you can PM me but there's absolutely no way you can go wrong here - and we took the cheapest "room" they had (felt more like a luxurious suite).

I read through this post also and seriously had to laugh when someone years ago asked about the difference between the JW on Phuket at this RC Phulay Bay. It's like asking if there's a difference between (I think you can fill in the blank.....). The RC Phulay is awe-inspiring world class luxury. The JW Phuket is a nice, but not world class, resort and the food is alright, but not mouth watering.
