Alright, I just called Continental in the US and it took the agent what seemed like half an hour to figure it out (no kidding
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif), but here are the fares ex CAI and they look extremely good - might be a reason for me not to book my second RTW on Oneworld, actually:
35,000 CRWWJ35 19,400
40,000 CRWWJ40 22,780
That's, as of today, 3,327 Euro for 40,000 miles in business class!!
The 10 stopovers is a bit of a bummer (although one can "buy" additional stopovers for $ 100), but in contrast to Oneworld and Star Alliance, there does not seem to be a maximum segment limit so far!
Now, if someone could quickly find out which of the FFPs involved is the best to
- gain status quickly (does any of them comp Star Gold??)
- gain maximum mileage through hundreds of short flights and huge status boni

- offers the best benefits and rewards,
and
- which of the airlines is recommended to fly on, which ones one should avoid, etc... (I was a CO Elite member a few years ago when I was still flying to Houston on a regular basis and I'm still in the Onepass program and the Flying Dutchman program),
I might be off to flying Wings soon!
