Delta made changes to their computer system recently that doesn't allow you to book any international stopovers through their computer system (either online or when an agent on the phone is trying to punch info into a computer). The actual rules about open jaws and stopovers haven't changed, but the agents will make up rules when the computer doesn't let them do it. I haven't figured out yet how to make them do it.

I was advised that I can't use my ORIGIN city as a stopover (the computer was seeing DTW-LIR-DTW as a RT - trip over).
Is it possible that the computer was pricing the add-on segment (DTW-MIA) as a separate ticket because the MPM was exceeded?
