The infant and child discounts are still around on UA international fares (see my edit above); may have to explicitly specify that you have a child at point of sale or call an agent to make sure the discount applies appropriately.

There are some wacky discounts out there, for example Turkish Airlines offers the following discounts on some fares:
IF THE FARE COMPONENT IS ON
ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING
ANY TK FLIGHT OPERATED BY TK.
DIS/DISABLED PERSON PSGR - CHARGE 75 PERCENT OF THE
FARE.
TICKETING CODE - BASE FARE CODE PLUS SB.

TURKISH VETERAN DISCOUNT - CHARGE 60 PERCENT OF
