Is it true that UA international airfare for child is 75% of adult fare. I just noticed that the tickets I bought on UA website last month for me and my son (6yrs old), US to Japan, the receipt listed 2 adults. My son has his mileageplus # which has his age recorded. And the tickets has both his mileageplus# and mine. I don't know why the UA booking system didn't recognize this.

I don't think the system will automatically recognise the age of mp members. You will have to click on "children" beside the number of adult travelers. That will lead you to a page with 3 categories of children and 2 categories of infants travellers. With that, you should get it priced right next time.
