Upgrade cleared at purchase for ORD DEN leg purchased three hours before departure. Received gate upgrade for MCI ORD leg upon request of GA. Long face of the guy who was number 2 moving down to 3 with only two seats in F. Felt bad but it's happened to me a number of times while GLD and PLT.
