Oh I couldn't resist commenting on this thread

Of course you're absolutely right, Club Europe is going down the pan. Even worse than that, BA is conning the passengers. Previously one of the selling points of this product that was actively promoted was the extra leg room, which is what you would expect from a premium product. BA have now changed the seating to the normal economy configuration, but have not reduced the price to reflect the downgrade of the product. They are STILL using old photos on the price/class selection page on BA.com, so many customers are still unaware of this downgrade.

I still for the life of me can't figure out why anybody who knows about this change would want to pay for this cabin anymore. I really don't understand how BA can think that somebody travelling to or from Central or Eastern Europe would choose business flights with BA. It's pretty obvious why they are quite happy for people to be doing Tier Point Runs, because they probably make up a significant number of CE passengers now!

The meals are pretty good, depending on the time of day, but probably don't cost more than £20. This is certainly not worth paying 3 times the price of a cheap economy ticket for. As the OP mentioned, Fast Track and priority boarding are sometimes a joke.

BA has seriously lost the plot with CE and I think that they still don't get it. What a shame, they seem to do some other things so well...this is a big let down.
