Welcome tobyjake

And I will add my welcome too, tobyjake, welcome to the British Airways board on Flyertalk. Thanks for telling us about your flight, and may we hear more from you. We try to be welcoming to new members, so welcome on board.

You were indeed unlucky to get the Afternoon Tea. I also quite like it since my schedule means I only get it fairly rarely, I'm usually on the morning and late flights where there is a hot breakfast or hot evening meal. There is a very good lamb navarin out there at the moment for example, that I had out of Oslo 2 weeks ago on the BA769 which leaves at 20:30. BA767 typically leaves around 16:55, a few minutes before the 16:59 cut off for afternoon tea.

Nornally for boarding the priority boarding lane is allowed to get some way into boarding before the other lane is allowed to board, so both agents would process Priority Lane passengers to begin with. But at Oslo the gate desk is quite wide and the metal lane constructs around the desk make it impractical. So either the other agent does nothing or process the non fast track passenger.

While I am happy with the CE product, there are many people here who would agree with you. The best thing to do is to vote with your wallet, not that the alternatives out of Oslo are too stunning either!
