OP booked F and flew F. Neither BA nor any carrier I know of guarantees specific seats.

Unless the issue was reported on the inbound flight, it is unlikely that it was even discovered until the crew did their walk through and checked the F seats.

A whinge might draw something, but pretty unlikely under the circumstances. As a matter of reality, it's a safety issue, so it trumps all else.
