It's a poor way to deal with it but if you were accommodated in your booked class of travel then that's good enough (in law and contract) - you're not guaranteed to get any particular seat in your class of travel and you're not entitled to any compensation.

BA may give you a bit of ex gratia compensation if you write or email in with a calm complaint how this was poorly handled and that your experience was much diminished by this change.
