Final Thoughts
We had a wonderful trip! Despite the persistent rain and delayed baggage, we enjoyed nearly everything we did. And, I took a lot of pictures (which I hope you enjoyed). We definitely enjoyed each place we visited and felt like we made the most of each destination.
My Opinions on Aspects of Our Trip:- Best Hotel Mattress: Warsaw Marriott Hotel
- Worst Hotel Mattress: Hotel Edelweiss, Wengen, Switzerland (too firm for my taste)
- Best IFE: Austrian Airlines Boeing 767-300ER Business Class
- Worst IFE: Swiss Airlines (Op. by Helvetic Airways AG) Fokker 100 Business Class (no IFE)
- Best Airplane Seat for Sitting: Austrian Airlines Boeing 767-300ER Business Class
- Worst Airplane Seat for Sitting: Swiss Airlines (Op. by Helvetic Airways AG) Fokker 100 Business Class
- Best Airplane Seat for Sleeping: LOT Polish Airlines Boeing 787-800 Business Class
- Most Surprising - Good: How easy it was to get around via public transportation everywhere
- Most Surprising - Bad: LOT Polish Airlines delayed baggage
- Best Sight: Alpine views while hiking the Bernese Oberland
- Most Overrated: Cheese fondue in Lucerne (I know, it is touristy; but, it was really very bad)
- Most Underrated: Mt. Rigi hiking.
- Most Memorable: Hikes around Wengen, Switzerland
