2 Days in Salzburg

The Radisson Blu Hotel Altstadt was perfectly situated for us to explore Salzburg. From the hotel, we walked around the Old Town and a bit of the other side of the river. It was also less than a 3 minute walk to the office of Bob’s Special Tours, which we used to book (in advance) our full day Sound of Music and Hallstatt tour. We took a self-guided walking tour of The Old Town. We walked through the Salzburg Cathedral. We spent an hour wandering through the Mirabell Gardens. We took the tram up to and enjoyed exploring the Hohensalzburg Fortress overlooking the city.
