I'd say Po Toi island by ferry from Aberdeen is not the worst choice for a Sunday (It can't get more crowded than the capacity of the very small infrequent ferry). And then a ferry back to Stanley for a Burger on the beach.
By the way, Big Wave Bay is less than 3 km and a hill away from Chai Wan MTR. Don't go on a Sunday.
