Great report--thanks for sharing your experience!

I recently flew SQ Suites DEL-SIN (then F on to CGK). Because it was ex-DEL, the food was bad, but the service and drinks were unforgettable.

That said, I was not at all impressed with the Private Room. Perhaps the concept was novel when it opened, but compared to what I've read of F lounges in BKK (TG--will be trying that one in January), MUC and FRA (LH), it just seems to lag far behind what many premium carriers are doing for their first class customers now. I had a bowl of Pho and a couple of glasses of mediocre champagne, plus a nice shower, but it didn't stand out as a better lounge experience than the regular F lounge, and frankly I even prefer the food in the J section of the SilverKris complex. That's just me, though.
