DTW Monday night, I had received my carfirmation upon landing (on-time arrival), directing me to a Buick Regal in slot 35. Arrive at the lot, and a different car was parked in my assigned slot, and a different last name displayed above the car. Check the Gold Board, name not listed. After a 5 min wait at the Gold counter, I'm directed to worn-out Maxima, no apology or explanation. Tank was not full, and the brake light illuminated periodically. I was all the way to Troy when the new carfirmation text for the Nissan finally arrived. Pathetic, but this seems to be an all-to-common experience now.
