Who said anything about an airline not being able to above above and beyond OW rules? I specifically pointed out that BA allows 32kg for OW elites but I did not know that AA offered that as well. I could not find any info that OW elites are allowed 32kg per bag on aa.com. And whenever I was flying in economy on AA I was always told that the limit per bag was 23kg, and that the 32 kg limit was only for J/F class ticket holders.
