Yes have had the same advice from QR on the phone today and a ref to that website.
Interestingly the chap said "it shouldn't be a problem as we don't ask for it when you book on the website. ?!?
I would've thought that was when they would really want to check.
She booked directly on the QR site as the price was several hundred cheaper in euros (departs CDG) than the same fare available to the university TA.
