If I were flying all that way, I'd certainly try to tack on some diving at the Great Barrier Reef. That, of course, requires another flight and several more days, but if you haven't done it, it certainly seems bucket worthy.
GBR bucket list diving? Not so much, given some areas in Indonesia, PNG, Vanuatu, Fiji, etc. Not to mention a goodly distance from Uluru, where dive gear will be in the way.
But Uluru in January? That'll be more like kicking the bucket...
