The S7 website indicates +1 bag for their 2nd tier, and +1 for the highest tier ( I assume that is +2 total for the highest tier), but it doesn't seem to say this applies to OW Sapphire. The OW site indicates additional baggage benefits is a benefit of Emerald status, not Sapphire. I understand IATA rules mean I should get the baggage limit of AA as I am flying OVB-DME-LHR-LAX and LHR-LAX is on AA, but it would be good to hear from someone who has experience with S7 at OVB, or at least somewhere else in Russia other than at DME. I will be breaking my trip with an overnight at LHR, but that will be less than 24 hours, so not an official stopover.
