So far option town seems an expensive way to get an upgrade but I have only looked it at once. Searching them on the internet does not always give a great story of customer service either.

Understand you can ask for a standby upgrade at the desk or checkin counter and it will cost you 15K of your points, or you can buy a upgrade with points prior to flying I think it is 20K
