Lounge access is more complicated than it should be, because American Express has assembled a collage of contracted and outsourced arrangements. Sometimes I just handover several cards, and ask the lounge attendant if any of them will work

Pick and choose! I'm keeping the Platinum for this perk alone.
The Platinum has:
- PP membership at $399USD (~$450CAD)
- The $200 travel credit
You're essentially paying $49CAD year to use the card and its' other benefits. I travel once a year so I'd typically use up $200 anyways so this is a good deal IMO.
