Duty free goods at MAN,when connecting outside EU
Good morning everyone!
I am looking at taking an advantage of the BA RFS ex MAN,and fly to JER (MAN-LHR-LGW-JER-LGW-MAN) for 9000 avios/35GBP.
Now the MAN website states that:
If you're flying via an EU airport to a country outside the EU (eg Manchester to Johannesburg via Amsterdam), and you are in possession of a boarding card for your final destination, you can still buy goods at both duty and tax free prices at Manchester Airport.
Does this mean I will be sold tobacco/alcohol at "Outside EU" prices, at MAN,and carry it to LON?
Thanks in advance!
