Here is a link to some great information and very informative maps about the flow. I find it fascinating and spent over an hour pouring over all the info. Looking at the area in Kehena Beach area where I stayed brings back some good memories. About as secluded as you can get, and will be even more so if and when the main highway closes. I could easily spend a month there and not get bored. Lol, rent a van, pack a months worth of food and drink, and all set.
