I have several friends whose relatives have had problems coming to the US for visits recently. One person's mother was recently unable to initially obtain a visa because (we presume) the authorities feared she would never leave. In the end, she got her visa, It took the assistance of a Congresscritter writing to the appropriate US embassy informing them that the mother had already made multiple visits to the US and that she had left each time.
