I am coming to the Big Island on holiday next month and the main reason is the volcano. This is my 3rd trip. Previously I saw lava from a distance from the County Viewing area and last time the glow from the Jagger Museum. The thing I really, really would like to see is the flowing lava.

I have been reading this for a while as I am hoping that I will get the chance to see some lava without being a nuisance to anyone. I don't want to see property being destroyed, I don't want anyone to think I am somehow getting pleasure from their misfortune and I don't want to get in the way.

I will wait and see what the situation is nearer the time. I hope if I do come and look that will not make me a bad person.
