Given that all the buildings are fairly low ride, I would have loved to have had access to stairs to bring us up and down the levels. We did try using the stairs but they ended up being more hassle than anything. At one point we ended up outside, between two buildings. Fortunately the doors did not lock automatically.
Your review of the FS Prague was excellent and really quite accurate. Been to this hotel several times and I would echo just about everything you wrote (except the taxi ride should not have been 15 minutes and a hotel car would have been better than UBER).

I quoted this small part of your review because once we had a river front room on the ground floor. After a long maze of hallways and elevators we arrived to our room and I joked with the check in clerk who had walked us that they should have an exclusive elevator leading right to our door. He said something to the affect of "unfortunately we don't have that, you have to take a more complicated route" and just as he was finishing his sentence a door opened just across from the door to our room. It was the bellman with our bags and just behind him was the staff elevator. It literally lead directly to our room . The check in agent was embarrassed and apologetic, but I assured him we could manage the maze .
