O/T: Swedish Smörgåsbord/Julbord Ingredient SEK Prices!
We have a long-standing tradition of a Christmas Eve smörgåsbord which stems from two years spent in Stockholm as a family in the late 90s. We usually end up sourcing most of the ingredients from IKEA or the Scandinavian Kitchen shop in central London, which works out to be pretty expensive as its all imported to order.
I'm looking at doing a day-trip up to either GOT or ARN or even CPH this winter to use up some Avios and a "use it or lose it" day of annual leave, so considering bringing a few things back.
Can anyone give me an idea of how much these bits will be in SEK from somewhere like Konsum/ICA or a market (Östermalms Saluhall springs to mind)?
Rollmop
Gravlax
Meatballs
Smoked Salmon
Pepperkakor
Korv sausages
Also, how much of a pain will it be to bring it all back through UK customs?
If anyone has any suggestions for bits and pieces to bring back, they'd be appreciated too!
