Changes to priority boarding planned?
Sorry if this has been mentioned before, I did a search and could not find anything. Additionally this is not the usual rant about gate lice and priority boarding.
On my flights to Rome yesterday whilst browsing Highlife I noticed in the back of the magazine that it listed the benefits of One World statuses in a table format. I sadly did not get a picture but for One World Ruby/Bronze it did not list priority boarding as a perk. At the time I put it down to being a typographical error.
However, on the return flight last night, the priority boarding sign that the ground crew put up (it was one of those huge marketing type banners) also did not list BAEC Bronze as being about to board via the fast track lane. The priority boarding announcement requested all Bronze members to board. (Of course, it could be that the sign was old and not been updated since 2013 when the perk was introduced)
I know, historically, there has been a large amount of debate from those with higher status saying that there are too many Bronze members and therefore they clog up priority boarding.
Do these two incidents highlight just how inconsistent BA is with communicating its BAEC perks or is something afoot?
